High Tech
Tech Committee (TC) members are the highest level of leadership of Computing Orientation.
High Tech, or Orientation Chair, is a demanding role within Computing Orientation, carrying substantial responsibilities. Fundamentally, the High Tech serves as the public face and leader of Computing Orientation, overseeing the seamless execution of Orientation activities and representing Computing Orientation to the broader Queen's Community.
The Head of Operations plays a crucial role in ensuring that all orientation activities and events for new students are planned, coordinated, and executed efficiently. This position involves strategic planning, logistics management, team leadership, and collaboration with various university departments to create a welcoming and informative experience for students.
TECHs are the first line of leadership within Computing Orientation. They lead a small group of new students during Orientation Week.
